Worship & Music Ministries

We are a church that values authentic, vibrant, celebratory worship, both on a personal and corporate level that brings great glory to God and connects people to God and to each other.  There are a number of opportunities to serve in our worship and music ministries, including worship team, special music, Adult Choir (September to May), audio / video tech team, plus Christmas and Easter musical programs.

Adult Bible Fellowship Groups

Our Adult Bible Fellowship Groups currently meet during the Sunday school hour at 9:30 a.m.  Excellent Bible teaching, combined with interactive discussion and fellowship connections with other people in your group make this time an enjoyable and meaningful experience.  We have groups for all ages; most of our groups are inter-generational, involving people of various age groups.  We also plan to soon begin Connection Groups during the week, and a sermon-based adult Bible fellowship for Sunday evenings.  Currently, we offer the following ABF Groups on Sunday mornings:  Forever Young; Cornerstone; College & Career

In addition, we offer a 4-week One Body: Let’s Get Acquainted Membership Class every Fall & Spring quarter for those who are interested in learning more about membership at MBC and believer’s baptism; plus an 8-week Christianity 101 class every Fall & Spring quarter for those who are seeking to learn about the basics of Christianity, faith, and how to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Missions

MBC is a church that values our partnership with Jesus Christ, the head of the church, to be a Great Commission local church, after the pattern of Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; and Acts 16:5; and that commits us to the goal of making more & better followers of Jesus Christ.  All Great Commission ministry, whether it is done globally in many countries, or right here in our own backyard of MBC, is highly valued as a joyful responsibility of our church and each of us as individual believers; we believe in making disciples (authentic Christ followers) in our own Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world.  To emphasize the importance of global missions, we do an annual Month of Missions conference in March, plus encourage all of our people to be involved in Biblical stewardship by supporting our missions endeavors through our Faith Promise Giving program.  Below is a list of current missionaries and ministries that we support; this list is also available weekly on our Wednesday prayer bulletin, and is posted in our church foyer.
